Reservations for the following accommodations and shuttle buses will be made through a travel agency (Arc Three International, Inc.) that will be cooperating with our organization. Please do not make reservations directly with these accommodations. Reservation email will be sent to you in June.
Please make your own arrangements if you wish to stay at accommodations other than those listed below.

At the Start (Bib distribution venue)：Hotel Yunoyamaonsen Kibouso

This is the bib distribution venue as well as the Start, so it’s very convenient to stay, but there are only 5 single rooms. Other options are 2-3 people rooms and 4-8 people rooms. They are allotted on a first-come-first-served basis, so if you don’t want to share the room with other runners, be quick to reserve it. The hotel provides a nice hot spring and Japanese or Western style rooms. Buffet-style dinner and breakfast are included.

A resort hotel with natural hot springs in the Yunoyama Onsen district.
Dinner (traditional Japanese meal brought in courses) and breakfast (Japanese set meal) will be served. The hotel shuttle bus will take you to and from the start venue (approx. 5 minutes).

    Access：Hotel shuttle bus will pick you up from Yunoyama Onsen Station according to the train time.

At the Finish (Bib distribution venue)：Guest House Hira Lake House ＊Shared rooms

Each building has 3 large Japanese style rooms. You will share the room with other runners or your friends. Each building has a shared kitchen and bathroom. You can cook on your own or order a takeout meal. Please be mindful that the nearest convenience store is open 09:30-20:00, the nearest 24-hour convenience stores are about 2 kilometers from the venue, and the few local restaurants nearby close around 20:00-21:00 or even in the afternoon. Plan your meals accordingly. Sat and Sun during the race, one or two food tracks will be there.

This guest house is right in front of the finish line. You can have a shower and sleep after finishing, and enjoy the BBQ & awards ceremony starting at 10:00 am on Sunday. For those expecting to finish on Saturday night, public transportation will not be available depending on the time (last train to Kyoto around 23:00), so please reserve the accommodation. For those expecting to finish just before the cut off time and want to rest by Lake Biwa before heading home, please reserve an overnight stay on Sunday Oct. 12.

We will also have bib distribution here (in addition to the main event site, hotel Kiboso).

There will be a shuttle bus from the Hira Lakehouse to the start venue of the race, departing around 6:00 AM on the race day. If you would like to use the bus, please make a reservation for the shuttle bus below.

  • 110/9 (Thu): ¥8,000/person (shared room/no meals/including VAT tax and service charge)
  • 10/11 (Sat) : ¥9,000/person (shared room/no meals/including VAT tax and service charge)
  • 10/12 (Sun) : ¥8,000/person (shared room/no meals/including VAT tax and service charge)

Parking at the finish line: Hira Lake House and surrounding area

Hira Lake House parking and nearby parkings are only available upon reservation; free of charge when you come to bib distribution on 10/9 (Thu).

  • 10/12 (Sun) : ¥1,000 (tax included)

Shuttle buses

If you are not staying near the Start venue, these buses are available.

A：From JR Otsu station　Departing at 06:30 on Oct 10 2025 (¥4,000, tax included)
It takes about 90 min. to the Start venue. You still have to go to either the start venue or the finish venue for bib distribution on Oct 9, so this bus is only recommended for local runners.

B : From the Finish venue, Hira Lakehouse　Departing at 06:00 on Oct 10 2025 (¥4,500, tax included)
It takes about 2 hours to the Start venue. Bib distribution will be carried on at both the start venue and the finish venue on Oct 9. This option is recommended to runners with a car staying the previous night at Hira Lakehouse.

C:From Yunoyamaonsen station (Free)
Oct 9 2025: Departing between 13:00 and 19:30 according to train arrivals.
Oct 10 2025: Departing at 07:30, 07:45 and 08:10 according to train arrivals.
It’s about a 10-min ride to the start venue. Recommended for those arranging their own accommodations in and around Yokkaichi on Oct. 9. Bib pick-up is still necessary on Oct. 9.
*If you are coming to the Start venue by car with your crew and/or family, free parking is available at Kiboso Start venue.
